The fine print
Terms behind the perks
* Spread Rebate
The spread rebate is paid monthly, between the 1st and 5th day of the month following the reporting period. Only closed transactions on FX and Metals are taken into account, where the trade duration is at least 5 minutes and the difference between the opening and closing price is at least 30 pips.
** Interest Calculation
Interest is accrued once per year on the account balance, calculated at the close of the last day of the 12th month following the program start date. The eligible balance consists exclusively of client deposits (net of withdrawals). Positive trading profits — realised or unrealised — are excluded; negative unrealised floating positions (drawdowns) reduce the eligible balance. Formula: Annual Interest Rate × Sum of Qualified Deposit Balances.
*** VPS Compensation
OnFin reimburses annual VPS server hosting costs based on the average yearly rental rate: up to USD 300 per year for Platinum and up to USD 500 per year for VIP. Compensation is credited to the trading account upon submission of a payment receipt for annual VPS rental to the Personal Manager. The amount is limited to actual rental expenses and does not exceed the maximum for the respective status.
How to keep your status
To maintain your status you must hold the minimum deposit balance and trade at least 20 lots per month. If these conditions are not met for three consecutive months, your status will be downgraded — the program rewards sustained activity, not just hitting a deposit target once.
Additional requirement for the 5% annual interest: no withdrawals during the entire 12-month qualifying period.
